Tyson Shirley, DVM and Owner

Dr. Tyson Shirley grew up in Northeastern Oregon with a love for animals and the great outdoors. He went on to complete a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from the University of Idaho, a Masters Degree in Animal Nutrition at Oregon State University and then on to graduate from Washington State University with a Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shirley spends his time away from the office doing anything he can outdoors with his family, whether it is hunting and fishing or pawn shopping for the next great deal.

Dr. Shirley is committed to a high quality of medicine and strives to keep an open communication relationship with his clients. He believes in providing options to his clients for them to decide what the best medicine is for their furry family members depending on their individual circumstances. He enjoys the variety of clients that Nampa offers and their willingness to give their pets the best of care.

Amelia Longworth, DVM

Dr. Amelia Longworth grew up in the Hudson Valley of upstate New York. After high school, she attended the University of Colorado obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with honors. After college, she worked as a veterinary technician for three years before obtaining her DVM, cum laude, from Colorado State University in 2011. The following year, she was selected for a competitive internship in small animal emergency, medicine and surgery at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO.

Dr. Longworth loves the clients and patients at Pet Health Clinic. She enjoys providing high quality medicine for her patients and being able to help and support her clients through every medical decision. Her professional interests include surgery and dentistry and she loves the challenge of interesting surgical cases.

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys taking care of her many animals, including dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and cattle. Off the farm, she enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping and good food.

Will Dunaway, DVM

Dr. Will Dunaway, originally from a small town in northwest Florida, discovered his passion for veterinary medicine at a young age. Surrounded by a variety of pets including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, and reptiles, he nurtured a deep connection with animals. This passion led him to attend the University of Florida for both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. In 2008, he moved to Idaho to further his career.

Dr. Will’s journey in the veterinary field began at just 15 years old when he started as a kennel assistant at his hometown veterinary clinic. Over the years, he advanced to the role of technician, which solidified his decision to dedicate his life to animal care. His lifelong love for animals and commitment to their well-being affirmed that he was in the right profession.

Outside of his work at Pet Health Clinic, Dr. Will enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, exploring the great outdoors through hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and fly fishing. His extensive experience and genuine passion for animals make him a valued and respected member of the Pet Health Clinic team, where he continues to provide exceptional care for all his patients.

Miranda Albright, Manager

Miranda, a proud Idaho native, brings over 11 years of experience in the veterinary field. After earning her degree in Veterinary Technology, she began her career as a Veterinary Technician, with most of her experience focused on emergency veterinary medicine.

In late 2024, Miranda joined Pet Health Clinic as our Practice Manager. Her passion for helping animals and forming meaningful connections with clients has been a consistent thread throughout her career—from her hands-on work in emergency care to her leadership role today.

Outside the clinic, Miranda enjoys a busy and fulfilling life with her two boys and a lively home full of dogs and cats. She’s excited to continue supporting pets and their families in her new role, bringing both compassion and expertise to our team.
